It’s that festive time of the year again, and we’re excited to welcome everyone back for our annual Winter Wonderland Artwork Contest!
Whether you're a seasoned artist or someone who just loves to create, this is your chance to help transform Wizard101 or Pirate101 into a truly dazzling winter wonderland!
Create an original winter or Yuletide themed artwork! This year, we’re opening the doors for even more creativity, draw, paint, sculpt, craft, or design something digitally.
Need inspiration? You’re welcome to use the KingsIsle Holiday Sketch Template! Print the page to color by hand or download it to your device for digital coloring.
Each entry will be judged within its own category and separately for each game, Wizard101 PC (NA & EU) and Pirate101. Honorable Mentions will be chosen as runner-up entries. The total number selected will depend on the number of submissions received for each game.
This contest is open to Wizard101 (NA-PC), Wizard101 (EU-PC) and Pirate101 players. Console users can still take part in the holiday cheer, though contest rewards are limited to PC players.
Categories:
Traditional Art:Hand-created artwork using physical materials such as pencils, markers, pens, paints, pastels, or mixed media. This includes sketches, full illustrations, paintings, and any other handcrafted, 2D art created on paper or canvas.
Digital Art:Artwork created using digital tools, such as drawing tablets and software like Photoshop, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, or similar programs. This category also includes digital 3D models. All digital pieces must be original. AI-generated or AI-assisted art is strictly prohibited.
3D Creations & Crafts:Any physical, or three-dimensional creation. This may include sculptures, models, ornaments, dioramas, handmade crafts, or other tangible works that bring Wizard101 or Pirate101 winter themes into the real world.
KingsIsle Sketches:Artwork created using the official KingsIsle Holiday Sketch Template. This template provides a starting point, but creativity, design, and execution are still fully judged.
How to Submit:
Post your artwork by December 31st, 2025 at 11:59 PM CST / 5:59 PM UTC on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or Discord.
Your post MUST include the following:
1. An image of your artwork
2. Your character's name
3. The category you are submitting for (Traditional, Digital, KI Sketch)
4. The hashtags: #2025SpiralHolidayArt AND one of the following: #Wizard101, #Wizard101Europe or #Pirate101Please specify if you are a Pirate101 player or an international player.
You may only submit one entry per game. You can only win one time across all games.
Rules
One entry per person per game.
Entries featuring AI or auto-generated content will be disqualified.
Entries may not include copyrighted or inappropriate material.
Players under 13 must have parent/guardian permission.
Entries must include your art, your character’s name, the category you chose, and #2025SpiralHolidayArt AND #Wizard101, #Wizard101Europe, OR #Pirate101. Please specify if you are a Pirate101 player or an international player.
