Hey Wizards,
First of all, we want to thank you for playing and being a part of the Wizard101 community. We really love seeing the Spiral filled with young wizards chatting and playing with each other!
We've received a lot of feedback since the transition of services from Gameforge and we'd like to provide you with some answers.
CHAT FILTER
After the transition started and we began watching the chat, we immediately noticed that you were unhappy with the current chat filter settings.
We sat down and discussed how to reach the best solution which lets Wizards communicate effectively with each other, but also is family-friendly and prevents abusive behavior in the chat.
There will be changes coming to chat, both in the short term (before Karamelle) and longer term (with Karamelle and potentially after) - but ultimately we want to have a solution that keeps everyone chatting safely and happily.
Our goal is to have a new chat filter system in place for the Karamelle update which then still could be refined, but should allow you to speak more easily.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We've seen a lot of feedback regarding the payment options, especially as there is only Credit Card and PayPal currently available.
Further, the money is charged only in $ which prevents some bank accounts from deducting the money, and with that, blocks possible purchases. The team is working as hard as possible to provide more options here.
The payment options we're aiming to implement as soon as possible are Sofort Überweisung and Paysafecard. This should allow the majority of players to purchase their goods through one of the 4 methods.
Of course, the team is also working on adjusting $ to €. Although it seems simple, this endeavor is a bit trickier than what it seems on the surface.

CONTENT UPDATES
One of the most frequent questions we receive is about content updates.
We understand that it’s been awhile since the last content update for the European servers and we 100% are going to change that. In fact, you can look forward to the highly anticipated launch of Karamelle within the next couple of months! What exactly will be in that release? Well, answers to that and so much more will be revealed as we inch closer and closer to the launch date. Stay tuned!
But we’re not stopping there. In addition to maintaining the same quality as usual and making sure all files are translated into all the languages, we’re aiming to bring the European version of the game closer to the North American one. To do this, we’re planning to release another update this winter and continue consistent game updates well past that.
Unfortunately, we cannot promise any specific date at the moment, but rest assured that we can’t wait to show you everything when it’s ready!
